Deploying iOS devices – a technical white paper

Many schools are buying a range of devices for use by staff and students without examining the technical issues which arise from their deployment. This technical white paper sets out the technical issues relating to their deployment and identifies how Apple devices and applications do not use traditional internet protocols, meaning that some functionality could be blocked by some systems. It suggests ways that these issues can be overcome.
