Safer Internet Day 9th Feb 2010
THINK BEFORE YOU POST
What does this mean to you? We want you to create and post a video clip to show us what this statement means to you and why it is so important to be safe on the internet – make your entry as original, exciting or as edgy as you like. The clip can be anything you like – we want to know what you think!
If you are aged between 8 – 16 years old and from the UK you are eligible to enter this competition and have a chance at winning one of the amazing prizes available. There are two categories; one for 8-10s and one for 11-16s. You can enter on your own, in a small group (up to five), or even as a class.
The competition opens 18th December and the closing date for the last entry is 25th January. Results will be announced via our CEOP YouTube site and the Thinkuknow website and the winners will be contacted directly by CEOP with the good news.
Safer Internet Day 2010 will be held on 9th February and if you are lucky enough to be a winner you may have the chance to come to the CEOP Centre for our internet safety event and be presented with your prize and get to see your post on the big screen!
For further information around the competition see below to see ‘How to Enter’, ‘The Judging Criteria’ and ‘Terms and Conditions’. For inspiration on this subject, check out our CEOP internet safety films on YouTube or have a look around the micro-site and the Thinkuknow site.
