The coach jorney was a long one but it was worth we had the best day ever. When we got off the coach we had our first pack lunch it was yummy and we were ready for it. After we were all ready and full up we walked to the south beach it was a long way to walk. When we got to the beach we collected shells we found razor shells, normal shells and a thew stones. We then went to the lifeboat station and looked at the lifeboats they all where differant and interesting. We then where ready for a snack. We had a ice- cream or a ice lollies we were ready for them. We then had a sandcastle competion and Amber won. Then we had some fun padling the sea it was quite cold but that did not matter and we found a little crab. We then walked back to where the coach was picking us up we then had a second pack lunch and got back on the coach to take the long journey back thinking about the great day we just had had. It was a great day and we all enjoyed it.

In Class 3 this week we have been doing art work about habitats. We picked a animal and a habitat were it lives. Then we drew the animal and either painted it, did a collage or we could colour with pastle. Also we had to write a poem about our animals. Most people have done lady birds. But we have done different varieties of animals.

Thisb week class1 have been making shelters for toys they made them out of cardbord box and they looked incredible. They evan made locks and signs. They got the idea from the three little pigs and made there housesb to they took pictures of there models and wrote about there signs. This week they have also been practising there maypole which will be shown to family and freinds on the 4th of May.

Class 3 have been learning about perimeter and area this week. We found the perimter of the corridoor using a trundle wheel. Perimeter and area is useful for planning a garden. In Science they have been learning about habitats. We drew diagrams of different ecosystems and habitats.
We started a new topic on coasts and have done some amazing artwork for a display.

Class 2 have been learning about famous explorers. In Literacy they have been reading the story of the firebird. They have been painting firebirds on cardboard. They have also acted out the story of firebirds.

This week Class 3 had their assembly. And sang two songs at the beggining,the songs were called solar system and family of the sun. Because they were learning about the planets. They were also learning about ancient Greece and gods and mythical beasts. They showed their handmade pots.

Class 1 have made town house to go in their little 3D Shape city. They are working extremely hard on this project and I reckon the finishing result will be fabulous site well worth seeing. Class 1 have also done lots of poems about spring to put on the new display about spring. the display will be put in the hall and will have the whole schools work on it there will also be drawings of spring flowers.
