What is this blog?

Originally iCT@C online was set up in 2005. Back then this was done by making use of the school website/ VLE where information and links to resources were posted and published, a bit like an online handbook.

By using a blog (kindly hosted by YHGFL) this allows resources and information to be published in a similar way, but also gives the user an opportunity to comment and respond to any posted information and/ or resources. The idea being that although, the blog can be used simply as a place to find useful snippets of information, ideally, users will provide a little feedback on their own experience about the resources listed.

There are currently SIX pages available to visitors. These are:

  • HOME - On this page, all recent posts are published. The most recent at the top of the page.
  • About – This page!
  • Calendar – Events and key dates for iCT@C are available via this calendar. If you have/ use google calendars you can share this easily with your own calendar.
  • eTv – Video content such as software tutorials, reviews, interviews can be accessed form the eTv player page. NOTE: Due to web filter restrictions, this player will play outside of the school/ LEA internet provision. CLICK HERE to participate and share your frustration.
  • POLL – Current poll.
  • Subjects – Quick links to subject specific resources and content.
