Our class blog
In our class our topic has been about weather. At first our teacher toled us to take some notes whilst we were watching a weather report. Next we had to write our own weather report and record it. Then using a weather template we put on the symbols and I made the symbols fly in.

On the 16th of March author Steve Way visited Hyrstmount. He came with his friend Conrad. They did a little play. It was about a evil superhero and a good superhero. the bad supper hero tried to steal our imagination. All the children in Year had to think of good words and ideas to make the stories more intersting. It was great fun to be able to show how good our ideas are and both Stevee and Conrad were really impressed that we were able to defeat the evil superhero with our excellent imaginations.

Today at Hyrstmount Junior school another author called Steve Way, creator of over 50 books, came to visit us. Steve and his friend, Conrad, came to the hall to talk to us and told us what Steve does, Steve makes maths and science ideas in to stories to make them interesting. They also then told us that Conrad and Steve had twin brothers! Conrad’s twin brother was an evil superman called…NO PLOT MAN! I think Steve’s twin brother is called Superhero Man. Then he told us that there are secret tunnels under shcool and No Plot man is going everywhere! Then when Conrad went to look for Plot man he forgot his first aid kit and so Steve went to give it to him or otherwise he would be in great danger!!! After he left,out of the tunnels came No Plot man and told us 1 of his boring poems but then superhero man came and told us that we was supposed to make it exiting,lively, cool and funny.So we changed it and then Plot man got defeated,we thought,but then he got another poem called “nice” it wasn’t that good because saying nice always makes it boring and is probably a level 1.So we changed the “nice” into exciting words. Finally we had proudly defeated No Plot man and exactly when they went Steve and Conrad came back. When Steve and Conrad returned from their tour of the tunnels they were very happy and surprised that we had managed to defeat

On Friday 16th March an author called Steve Way and his friend, Conrad, came to our school. They told us about an evil villain called No-plot person, who stole people’s imaginative thoughts. No-plot person was Conrad’s twin. Fortunately a superhero called Story man could defeat No-plot person. Story man is Steve’s twin. No-plot person could be defeated by reading creative stories, or making them. Unfortunately, Story man could be defeated by reading boring stories.Story man, with the help of some year 6′s changed No-plot person’s boring stories to a creative one, defeating No-plot person for good.
On the 16th of March 2 authors called Steve Way and his friend Conrad searched the whole school in order to destroy the villain
called... No Plot Person!!!!!!There was also a hero called...The Story Man. The Villain finally
arrived and tried to snatch our imagination away...but The Story Man arrived just in time.No Plot Person Read a boring
story called The boring Tortoise.It destroyed the hero just what he wanted to do but the hero eventually got up and cried
''re-create this story and make it interesting and save the day''.We destroyed the villain but not strong enough he still got up
and read ANOTHER story!This time he used the word starting with an N and ending with an E {nice}.It was absolutely boring and
we even had to re-create it and saved the day again!That made him completely... DEAD.It was completely over f

On Friday 16th of March two Author’s called Steve Way and his friend called Conrad came to see year 6. They played a story. The best part was when he said very nice very nice and it was interesting. He wanted us to say better words.

On Thursday and Friday a famous author, Steve Way, and his Conrad came in. They acted out a funny play about no plot person and story man and we learnt lots of different ways to improve our writing. It was a really fun day.

Steve Way, an author, visited Hyrstmount Jr School on the 15th of March. He told us about how he was interested in Maths and Science and he used to be a teacher but quit to be a author. He also made us laugh with funny sketches and exciting excuses to not bringing your homework.
