Congratulations! You are all extraordinarily amazing and fantastic at maths! Miss Teacher’s Maths group are at number 1 in the UK top classes on Mathletics today, and Ahsan has nearly got 15,000 points! How incredible is that! A big well done to everyone! We have another big Mathletics celebration planned for Thursday and again at least 10 children will get their Gold Awards!
We have some very special visitors coming to Hovingham next week…. I am sure they will have a fabulous time at school and I hope they get a chance to come and join in with a Mathletics club! I think they will be very impressed with all the wonderful and exciting learning we are doing. I hope they like the Mr Men as much as we do and get a chance to join us in finding out all about Roger Hargreaves.

I liked Mr Tickle because he is funny and tickles people and he makes them laugh. Mr.Tickle is orange and funny and tickles people. In the story Mr Tickle was tickling people,he tickled a farmer,a train manigar and a little boy.And a teacher.Mr Tickle went back the school and tickled some more people.
I liked Mr Happy because he is happy all the time and he smiles at everyone.Mr Happy. Mr Happy is happy and funny.In the storry Mr Happy and Mr Miserable was happy.
Iliked Mr COOL because he is cool. MrCool isblue and cool. In the story Mr Cool went sledging.

I like Mr Slow because he is slow and he doesn’t bang into things.Mr Slow is slow, greeen and helpful.In the story Mr Slow makes his own house in ten years. Mr Slow meets Mr Tickle. Mr Slow drives a racing car and a train.I like Mr Busy because he helped Mr Slow and because he made a cottage.
Mr Busy is blue, busy and kind. In the story Mr Busy is always busy and kind. I like Mr Muddle because his house is muddled and because he is muddly. Mr Muddle is green , muddled and fget ful. In the storyMr Muddle met a boat driver the boat driver said come in the boat. Did you know that he had a big house.

I like Little Miss Somersault because she does cartwheels. Little Miss Somersault is round and blue. In the story Mr Skinny falls but Little Miss Soumersault rescues Mr Skinny. Did you know that Little Miss Somersault had a funny looking house?
I like Mr Bump because he bumps into stuff. Mr Bump is round and blue. In the story Mr Bump broke all his windows. At the end of the story Mr Bump found a great job he collects apples of trees. Did you know that Mr Bump fell in a hole?
I like Mr lazy beacouse always likes to sleep. Mr Lazy is like a rectangal and he is pinck. In the story Mr Lazy only likes to sleep.

I like Mr Grumble because he is purple. In story MR Grumble said ”Bah! I hate wizards!”
At the end of story MR Grumble was afraid that he might stay a pig for the rest of his life. Did you know Mr. Grumble was never ever a pig?
Mr Nonsense had no sense at all.Not a scrap. Mr Nonsense liked to eat? porridge! Mr Nonsense sleeps every night? In a rowing boat! Mr Nonsense was often round at Mr Silly,s house playing jigsaw puzzles. Mr Nonsense made snow balls that some how or other came out sort of square!
