Y2 – Palm

Yesterday Iwent to the theatre to see Cinderella it was amazing and the theatre was huge,her sisters were ugly and mean.Cinderella wore a beautiful silver dress and it was amazing. It had beautiful music and it had a big carriage and the prince was very, very ,very nice and fantastic too.The prince put the slipper on every girl in the town but it didn’t fit them but there was Cinderella.They put the slipper on Cinderella and it fitted and then Cinderella got married to the prince.

Yesterday  two red went to the theatre to see amazing Cindrella and Cinderella had three ugly sisters and they were mean to her because they made her do all the cleaning in the house.My favourite part was when they was  driving the scooter they crashed into the gate it made me laugh.

Yesterday   2red  went to the theatre to watch Cindrella and it was fun and I liked Buttons .Cindrella had three mean sister’s they made Cindrella do all the work.My favarite part was the scooter part it made me laugh I enjoyed that part because  Buttons was funny.

Yesterday we went to the theatre to see Cinderella  it was amazing. The 3  ugly sisters ripped up Cinderella’s invitation for  the ball at the palace where the handsome prince lived.

Yesterday we went to the theatre and we had  lots of fun. When the show started and we all wached the show there where lots children there.

Yesterday  me  and  my  class  went  to the theatre to  see  beautiful  Cinderella and Cinderella was amazing.

I  liked  the   fairy she was funny.

The tow  ugly sisters  where   very  ugly  and  nasty.It  was  amazing  and  it  was  fantastic.

Yesterday we went to the ama0zing theatre  to see beautiful Cinderella. She had very very funny friends and she had very ugly sisters.My favourite bit was the bit wen the fairy did the magic.

Yesterday  we went to see Cindrella and it was beautiful because the costumes were amazing.

The show was fantastic and I liked Cinderella the best because she is amazing.

Yesterday I went to the amazing theatre to see beautiful Cinderella and it was lots of fun.

The  costumes  was  beautiful.

I  like  the  bit  wen  the  prins  got  her  slipper.

Yesterday I went to see Cinderella,  it was funny and the characters were amazig and the sisters were ugly and mean. But Cinderella was beautiful.

Yesterday we went to see  beautiful Cinderella and it was fun because  we  saw  funny Buttons. I like  Buttons the bsst of all. THE ugly  sisters don’t  let   her go to  the   ball.

Yesterday we went to see Cinderella. and we went to the theatre my favourite part is wen she dus to the music.

Yesterday I went to see Cinderella at the theatre,  it was fantastic but my favourite person was Cinderella. She was really beautiful but  her sisters were really really funny and also they were  ugly too.Cinderella had a beautiful silver dress and also a carriage, which the fairy gave her. It was so amazing, it had nice music and we saw a on the way back to the bus, we saw a big christmas it had big and small balls.Cinderella had to tear her letter because her sisters said so.There was aman called buttans he was funny and the fairy god mother was funny too.When Cinderella was at the ball it was mid night the magic was going Cinderella ran as fast as she  could and her glas sliper came of.

Yesterday two red went to see Cindrella it was amazing and it was funny because Buttons told lots of jokes.

My favourite part was when Buttons was on the scooter and he went zooming down the street and he crashed

into a gate.I liked the fantastic theatre it made me feel ecstatic because the costumes were brilliant!!!

Another snowy day! As you know Miss teacher goes to another school on Fridays, and they are near a big main road, so they are open! Miss teacher had to get up very, very early to get to a bus stop and catch the bus there. She lives at the top of a steep hill, so it too dangerous to drive!

I have never seen so much snow! Ever! Miss Teacher walked home from school yesterday and it took just over 1hour 45 minutes! I stopped 6 times to help push cars that were stuck in the snow – and was just grateful I was able to walk home.

As you know Miss Fisher is doing a Maths Specialist Teacher course at Sheffield University – so I am going to be very busy working on a 7,000 word essay I have to do – all about Maths! Actually it’s about making Maths fun so that children enjoy it – so if you have some good ideas about what makes Maths enjoyable for you – please send me a comment – or post it.

Today, while you are at home – here’s some ideas to keep you busy!

• Make a symmetrical picture of a Christmas tree, or draw a tree and then draw repeated shape patterns across it to decorate it. ( Tell your family what you have learned about symmetry, patterns and 2D shapes.)
• Snowman – is a compound word – it is made of 2 other small words. See if you can make a list of other compound words. If you start by thinking about the snow – you will find some other compound words that start with snow…
• If you have the Internet – try the website – wordle – there is a link at the side. Put in all the words that remind you of winter, and see what it makes for you! You can change the colours to make it look more wintry too!
• Don’t forget to read your book – find somewhere warm and cosy and enjoy reading!
• Practise, practise, practise – number bonds, tables, spellings!

Another snowy, cold morning – I hope that most of you will make it to school as I shall be getting there! Those of us that there will be doing some science today about changing materials. We will be getting some snowballs, weighing them, timing how long they take to melt ( in different temperatures) and then measuring the amount of water they melt into. So if you are at home today – perhaps you can join in with the experiments – you will need to ask your mum if you can borrow some kitchen weighing scales and a measuring jug.

We have learned how to make a snowflake and we have been doing some symmetrical snowy scenes to decorate the invitations we wrote for our performance. Today we are going to do some more work on symmetry and patterns.
