Y3 – Yew

Long long ago there lived a king and he wanted to get married. He said that he will get lots of things for his wife to show that he loved her.There was a man called Percues and gave him a few ideas but one of them was that he would get the snake headed monsters head. She was called Medusa and the king said ok that will do. So he set of and a few seconds later Athena the goddess gave Percues a polished sheild and a sword and Hades gave  Percues a hat which can make you invisible andsome flying sandles  Hades even said that keep the hat safe. When he was in a forest and he saw a bird that was turned to stone and a person which was shocked and he or she was turneed to stone and he found a cave and he heard some croacky voices.He went and  said who is home and someone said come in.When he came in he saw 3 old crones which they all sheared a eyeball to see. Perceu told the 3 old crones were Medusa was. The 3 old crones said that why would I tell you where Medusa lives. Perceus took the eyeball and the 3 old crones thaught it was lost but really Perceus took it. He said if you dont tell me were Medusa lives I will throw it in the river and you would never be able to see ever again. So they told Percues were Medusa lived and Percues gave them the eyeball back and they were all fighting over it. Percues put his flying sandles on and he set of to Percues’es cave. He landed and he saw another cave and he went in and he saw Medusa sleeping. He went towardes Medusa but half way there he steped on a stone and it rolled and it made a big bang and Medusa woke up and Percues quickly put his hat on. He looked into his shield because it was polished so much that you can see what was happening behind you. So he put the shield in front of him and put the sword next to Medusas head and he swung his sword and Medusa’s head came off. He put Medusa’s head in a bag and went back to the palace. He told the king that he has got Medusa’s head and the king did not belive Percues.  Perceus took out Medusa’s head and the king and his slaves stared into Medusas eyes and the king and his slaves turned into stone.
