Highlights :

  • All KPIs were met or exceeded this month
  • A major focus for the month was development and user testing of our new
    online booking system and CPD brokerage. It is due to be launched in early
  • A programme of free online CPD workshops has been devised in partnership
    with NAACE (ICT for Free) and the National Education Network. The
    sessions will be delivered by YHGfL and promoted across the other RBCs.
  • The eSafety section of the website has undergone a major redevelopment,
    with many new sections and resources. It will now be easier to navigate and
    find specific resources.

The North Lincolnshire Learning Platform (My Learning Space) is a feature packed suite of e-learning tools suitable for learners of all ages.  Our platform continues to grow and develop over time as feed back from schools guide the direction of development.

North Lincs Learning Platform Release Notes

My Learning Space continues to be imporved over time.  The latest version went live at the end of August with the following changes:

Included in this deployment are:

  • Stability fixes to ensure system is robust for use at start of September term


  • Report abuse and report bug forms separated.
  • Ability to resend playlists.
  • Additional functionality of being able to add web links to the event stream, file descriptions in the shared folder and file descriptions in my stuff.
  • Improved validation for html widget on group dashboard.
  • Ability for Junior to be turned on/off for individual schools.
  • Report Abuse functionality added to Junior.
  • Further optimisation of the junior interface to improve performance.
  • Ability to view file descriptions in Junior’s Our Work.

We will be publishing a full roadmap of all developments for the next 6 months soon.
